1. Welcome to Sage and Petal Nail Salon
Thank you for choosing Sage and Petal Nail Salon. These Terms & Conditions explain how we work together to ensure you have the best experience. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Please take a moment to read through them so you know what to expect.
2. Booking Appointments
When booking, please select the specific treatment you require. Different services need different time slots and products, so it's important to choose the right option.
If you have a particular design in mind, please send a photo before your appointment. This allows me to ensure enough time is booked and I have the right products ready for you.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
I understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows without any contact, may affect your ability to book future appointments. This policy helps me manage my time and ensures availability for all clients.
4. Arriving for Your Appointment
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals can have a knock-on effect on other clients' bookings.
If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. Depending on how late you arrive, I may need to shorten your treatment or reschedule to avoid disrupting other appointments.
5. Payment
Payment is due at the end of your appointment.
I accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Please let me know if you have a preferred payment method.
6. Consultation Forms
Before your first appointment (and periodically thereafter), you will be asked to complete a consultation form.
Please complete this honestly and include any relevant information about allergies, skin conditions, medical conditions, or previous nail damage. This information helps me provide a safe and suitable treatment for you.
If any of your details change between appointments, please let me know.
7. During Your Appointment
Please check that you are happy with the shape and colour of your nails early in the appointment. This allows any changes to be made easily before the treatment is completed.
If you have any concerns during your treatment, please speak up straight away so I can address them.
8. Children
Due to the limited space in my home salon and the use of sharp implements, I kindly request that children do not attend appointments with parents.
If you have any concerns about childcare arrangements, please get in touch and we can try to find a solution.
9. Aftercare & Warranty
To keep your nails looking their best, please follow any aftercare advice provided.
If you experience any chipping or lifting within 48 hours of your appointment due to a service issue, I will fix this at no extra charge. Please contact me as soon as you notice any problems.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or not following aftercare instructions.
10. Refund Policy
I do not offer cash refunds for completed services.
If you are unhappy with your treatment, please let me know during your appointment so I can try to put things right. For any issues arising after you leave, please contact me within 48 hours.
11. Your Privacy
Any personal information you provide, including details on consultation forms, will be kept confidential and stored securely in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Your information will only be used for the purpose of providing your treatments and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
